The C-Card Scheme is available in all sorts of places across Nottingham, including NHS Health Centres, Youth Clubs, Youth Offending Team, Connexions some colleges and schools. You can access the C-Card scheme wherever you see the C-Card logo.
So here’s some questions for you:
If the answer to any of the above questions is yes, this site and C-Card can help you. You don’t have to be having sex to use this site or service; the advice is free and confidential and is aimed at helping you make the right choice about your sexual health.
We’re not going to tell you what to do or even that you’re right or wrong about anything: we’re only going to offer you information to help you make your own decisions.
This is a starting point for you, if you want more advice and want to talk to someone face to face in confidence, you can find out how on this site by checking out the list of registration points.
To get free condoms and lubes you need to be registered onto the scheme. This means you will be given a C-Card, which will have your C-Card number on it. To get a card you need to attend a registration point and go through a registration. This takes between 30-45 minutes, so give yourself plenty of time, if you’re in a rush, you’ll have to come back another time. Check out “What Happens At Registration” for more information.
Once you’re registered and have your card and number, you can get condoms and lubes from anywhere you see the C-Card sign – that’s any registration or pick up point. (You cannot get condoms/lubes from pick up points if you are not already registered.) Check out the list of registration and pick up points for the nearest site in your area.
REMEMBER… if you lose your card/number you will have to register again so look after your card and put your number in your phone!!
